| Abstract: | In this paper,the U.S.ballistic missile defense system is studied,beginning with the introduction of its history.Components,operation programs and possible countermeasures are also analyzed.Especially,the measurement and discrimination capabilities of surface-based radar and space-based infrared system of BMD are discussed. At last,prospects of its development and the influence to the world security situation are reviewed. |
