可膨胀石墨增效碱式硫酸镁晶须无卤阻燃EVA的研究

摘    要:研究了无卤阻燃剂碱式硫酸镁晶须(MOS)和阻燃增效剂可膨胀石墨(EG)在乙烯-醋酸乙烯酯共聚物(EVA)中的填充量及其不同配比对EVA极限氧指数和UL-94垂直燃烧试验级别的影响。结果表明:EG对MOS阻燃EVA体系具有较好的阻燃增效作用。粒径和可膨胀倍数较大的EG具有更好的阻燃增效作用。

Abstract:Magnesium sulfate whisker (MOS) as halogen-free flame retardant and expandable graphite (EG) as synergist were used in ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) formulations. The effects of their addition and ratio on the limited oxygen index and UL-94 level were studied. The results show that EG has a good synergistic effect with MOS in the EVA/MOS/EG blends. The EG with bigger particle size and higher expansion ratio usually has better flame-retardant synergistic effect.
