Abstract:A hydraulic energy-storage wave energy generation system is constructed.A power transmission scheme which composed of a three-switch Vienna rectifier and T-type three-level inverter was proposed aiming for reducing AC-side current harmonics during power transmission process.The components of the power generation system are introduced and the advantages of Vienna rectifier and T-type three-level inverter are analyzed.A mathematical model of main components in system is built for analysis.The simulation model is built in Matlab/Simulink,the intermittent duty and continuous duty of power generation are simulated under different wave conditions.The results indicate stable operation of the system under different wave conditions,the proposed converter scheme has an effective supression ability for current harmonics both generaotr-side and grid-side,meeting the requirements of grid-connected standards for current harmonic limits and total harmonics distortion.
