Abstract:Powder bed fusion additive manufacturing has the characteristics of high forming accuracy,good mechanical properties and insensitivity of complex components,which is the most rapidly developing technology in the field of metal additive manufacturing.The quality of metal powder is the key to the development of powder bed fusion additive manufacturing,which needs to meet the requirements of high purity,good sphericity,good fluidity and reasonable particle size distribution.This paper briefly introduces the performance requirements of powder used in powder bed fusion additive manufacturing,compares the methods of powder preparation,and looks forward to the development of metal powder.
