Abstract:TiO2/WO3nanocomposite films on the basement of glass are prepared by sol-gel method with organic dye methylene blue(MB)as the target degradant,and the effect of different molar ratios on the properties is studied.XRD,SEM,EDS,UV-vis and photocatalytic testing are used to characterize its morphology,composition and properties.The results show that TiO2/WO3nanocomposite film with Ti:W=3:1 has the highest photocatalytic degradation activity,with degradation rate of 84.2%at 20 min and nearly 98%after 60 min,which is about 4 times of the catalytic activity of pure TiO2.TiO2/WO3nanocomposite film shows high stability,and the degradation rate of MB can still reach 95%after five cycles of degradation experiments.
