| Abstract: | Mr. Feng Jizhong is one of the founders of the School of Architecture & Urban Planning, Tongji University. This paper records the interview with him, including the following topics: his thoughts and education theories on architecture, urban planning and landscape; the background of his illustrious design Fangta Garden; design methods merging both eastern and western culture, e.g. the emerging of Yijing, the control of rational clues and sensible clues; the problems in the field of current architecture and its future development. |
