| Abstract: | Researches on the effect of photographic gelatin in silver halide emulsion are summarized from the aspects of the structure and components of gelatin, s-amido acid and oxide production of the gelatin molecule, metal ions in gelatin, the interaction between Ag~+, X~- and gelatin, and the protective and steady effect of gelatin, etc. |
