This paper introduced the principle and merit of infrared imaging,analysed merit and deficiency that the fire source probing at present at home and abroad,prospect the develop direction of concealing fire source explore in pit,suggest that using infrared imaging to explore concealing fire source have been one kind of advanced and excellent method,using this method may barge up against the problem of explosion protection and temperature backcalculation in instrument.
