| Abstract: | A comparison of parametric and nonparametric statistics is presented in terms of practical problems and measurement theoretical considerations. Though there is little to choose between the 2 in terms of significance level or power it is stated that parametric procedures, being more versatile, best meet the needs of psychological research.
