A manifest structure analysis of the Otis S-A Test of mental ability, higher examination: Form B. |

| Abstract: | This new scale theoretic approach to item analysis is shown to be useful in shortening a standardized test. A short test of 20 Otis items was developed. Testing time was 8 minutes.
