Guttman-type scales for union and management attitudes toward each other.

A systematic study of scale preparation for industrial relations purposes is reported. 14 multiple-choice items were presented to 41 officials. Unidimensionality on at least 7 items was confirmed by the analysis. "The refined scales are valuable instruments for substantive research on union-management relations at the plant level."
