| Abstract: | A kind of rack shaper based on the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) is introduced. The machine applies three NC axises to realize precise numerical control for the circle advancing , the radius advancing and the tooth-disparting. This paper discusses the mechanical construction , the Numerical Control System and some key techniques of rack shaper in detail. |
