A Distributed Complex Network Management System Architecture Based on Intelligent Agents

This paper introduces the idea of intelligent agents into distributed network management. It first describes the agent classification, structure and communication protocol. Based on the analysis of the problems in complex network management, it presents a layered distributed network management model and explains its components. Finally, it gives an application example of this model by describing the architecture for a concrete network, and then comes to a conclusion.
