The Bear Clamp Design for Pile Extension during the Installation of Jackets at Sea

Since the length of the pile foundation of an offshore platform usually exceeds 80 meters or more, so the pile cannot driven into the soil under the sea bed as a whole. It has to be cut into several segments driven into the sea and than join together one by one. A bear clamp is then proposed to do this operation,which can help to prove the accuracy and meet the requirement of the construction.
