| Abstract: | The principle of selecting carbide for making cylindrical compacts as well as the recent status(including carbide grades and shapes of compacts),and development trend of the carbide at home and abroad are described.The relation between carbide grade and shape of compacts and subterranean formations are discussed,then the technical basis for proper selecting carbide for cylindrical compacts is proposed. |
