| Abstract: | In this letter, I demonstrate a simple preparative route to monodispersed, large gold spheres (∼450 nm in diameter) by directly mixing a HAuCl4 aqueous solution and an ortho-phenylenediamine (OPD) tetrahydrofuran (THF) solution at room temperature. |
