| Abstract: | This special issue on computer-aided design of mechanisms has the objective of representing the state-of-the-art in computer-assisted mechanism analysis and synthesis. The events of the past 25 years are reviewed in this article. The brief look at today and the potential future of this fast-growing area are meant to set the stage for this special issue of Mechanism and Machine Theory. |
