| Abstract: | This paper generally describes the state-of-the-art of the development of fiber optic communications both at home and abroad as well as the status of the development of this new industry in China. The existing problems in the development of optocom industry in China is also discussed. Finally, the proposals on how to further develop China's fiber op tic communication industry are given in the last part of this paper. |
