Abstract: | The photoluminescence (PL) and electroluminescence (EL) properties of Eu(TTA)3Phen (TTA: thenoyltrifluoroacetonate; Phen: 1,10-phenanthroline) dispersed in poly(N-vinylcarbazole) (PVK) in multilayer organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) have been investigated. Both Gd(TTA)3Phen and tris(8-hydroxyquinoline) aluminum (Alq3) were used as an electron transporting layer in order to compare their electron energy transfer properties in OLEDs. |
