大学英语词汇教学研究

摘    要:语音、语法和词汇是构成语言的三大要素,其中词汇是语言的建筑材料,没有词汇就没有语言.但是在我国传统外语教学研究中,由于受结构主义理论的影响,过分强调句法结构在外语教学中的作用,而忽视了词汇教学的重要性.根据国内外词汇教学理论和策略,提出通过阅读、利用构词法、开展同义词和相似词辨析等改进词汇教学方法,研究大学英语词汇教学的方法与途径.

Abstract:Phonetics,grammar and vocabulary are three main elements that constitute a language.Among them,vocabulary is the building material of the language. Without vocabulary,there would be no language.However,affected by the theory of structural linguistics,the traditional foreign language teaching in China puts too much emphasis on the function of syntactic structure and at the same time neglects the importance of vocabulary teaching.According to the theory and strategy on vocabulary teaching at home and abroad,the essay puts forward the methods of improving the vocabulary teaching through reading,word-formation and synonym discrimination.The essay aims at probing and researching on the proper way of the college English vocabulary teaching.
