Abstract:The main effective factors on oxygen content in bearing steel produced by UHP EAF - LF - VD, such as deoxidant, deoxidation operation, refining slag, temperature control and argon stirring etc, have been tested. By improved process, the [O] being no more than 11×10-6 and the average oxygen content in steel being 8.65×10-6 have been got.
