The application of tracking following method in image database

A novel method using tracking following for optimizing the image database is presented in this paper. Using mathematical morphology reduces the noise in the handwriting' s image. The characters of the image are picked up by using tracking following method and stored as link -code in the database. The occupation of the image in database is consumedly reduced. The algorithmic implement of this method is described in detail.
