Abstract:Sarcoidosis is a common multisystem disorder characterized by noncaseating epithelial granulomata, with osseous involvement typically seen in 5% of patients. While the lace-like or cystic pattern frequently seen in radiographs of the phalanges is well appreciated, sclerotic lesions of the spine are uncommon. We review a case of sarcoidosis of the cervical spine with sclerotic changes that mimicked blastic metastatic disease.
