With the homogenization of cities in China and the changing way of traveling,local culture is imperative in the development of holiday hotels.This paper explores the relationship between holiday hotels and natural and cultural environment from the perspective of critical regionalism and elaborates such practice of seeking local characteristics in the redevelopment plan of Huabang Hotel.
