| Abstract: | Series resistance results in significant reduction in efficiency of solar cells. An approximately exponential behavior of the efficiency and the series resistance of solar cells has been deduced using numerical analysis of I-V characteristics. The results confirmed that the series resistance plays an important part on fill factor of solar cells. It is simple to determine the series resistance by numerical method from experimental open circuit voltage, short circuit current and the efficiency. |
