In order to properly use the microcumputer excitation device, this paper makes an indepth exposition on the application of the WKLF--11D22 type microcumputer-controlled excitation device in Xietai pumping station, from such aspects as its composition, working principles and advantages and the noticeable problems in its daily operation and management, so as to provide reference to its design lectotype in large in-built South-to-North water diversion pumping stations and the technical renovation and transformation of other large-scale pumping stations.
