Types and metallogenic regularity of gold deposits in Ailaoshan structural belt

Ailaoshan structural belt is not only one of the most important polymetallic metallogenic belts in three-river region in southwestern China,but also one of the most famous tectonomagmatic belts in the world.Influenced by the continental collision between India and Eurasia and the geologic-tectonic evolution of Himalaya orogenic belt,Ailaoshan structural belt has the complicated metallotectonics,predominant ore-forming conditions and complex types of gold deposits.The gold deposits of Ailaoshan structural belt are divided into 7 different types in terms of applied deposit types by this paper.The metallogenesis of the gold deposits in Ailaoshan structural belt are characterized by the following aspects： the unity of metallogenic geological settings,the diversity of metallogenetic（mineralized） types,the multi-stages of metallogenic epochs,the multi-sources of ore-forming materials,the concentration of deposit space distribution and the complicacy of ore-forming processes.In the end,the prospecting indicators of gold deposits in Ailaoshan structural belt are summarized.
