Abstract: | Various surface energy models were applied to environmentally friendly membrane blends composed of polypropylene and polysulfone, with and without the addition of functional polyolefins. The Zisman and van Oss models gave comparable values for these polymer blend systems, and the Owens/Wendt model gave slightly lower values. There was effectively no variability in the surface energy values obtained by using two different processing methods. J. VINYL ADDIT. TECHNOL., 2012. © 2012 Society of Plastics Engineers |
