基于保偏光纤的光纤应力传感器研究与设计

摘    要:为了提高光纤应力传感器的抗干扰能力,提出了一种基于保偏光纤的光纤应力传感器设计方案.该方案主要利用保偏光纤的高双折射机理,通过光偏振度的变化来反映外界应力的变化.还给出提高系统性能的一些措施.实验表明,该系统能准确检测出光纤弯曲程度的变化.

Abstract:Optical fiber sensor system is usually used to test some parameters in many engineering application scenarios,but there exist many disturbing factors making the result inaccurate.A project of optical fiber sensor system based on polarization maintaining(PM) fiber has been presented to improve the ability of resisting disturbance.By using the principle of high birefringence of PM fiber the change of the external environmental stress is reflected through the change of polarity of fiber.Furthermore,some measurements to enhance the system performance have been described.The experimental result shows that system can veraciously test the variety of bending degree for the fiber.
