| Abstract: | Life cycle assessment (LCA) is a tool by which the environmental impacts of a product across its entire life cycle can be evaluated. As an important environmental management tool, it has been applied and developed by the companies or governments in many countries. Understanding and research of LCA method are still in infancy in China. Based on the information provided by ISO14040 43, the technical frame of LCA is discussed in detail. An example is presented to explain its application in waste management. |
