基于随机Petri网的IEEE 802.11协议建模与分析方法

摘    要:随着802.11无线局域网技术的飞速发展与广泛应用,对其进行建模与性能分析成了无线通信领域中一个重要的研究问题。文章首先提出了增强广义随机Petri网(EGSPN),增加了标识相关弧多样性和实施函数等特性,扩充了广义随机Petri网的模型功能,并给出了EGSPN的性能分析方法。建立了基于EGSPN的802.11协议模型,并以RTS/CTS访问方式下协议性能计算及结果分析为例验证了该方法的有效性。

Abstract:With the LANs based on the IEEE802.11 standards gaining prominence and acceptance,its modeling and performance evaluation has been an important problem of the wireless research area.The paper presents the Extended Generalized Stochastic Petri Nets(EGSPN)which adopts two extensions:marking- dependent arc multiplicity and transition enbling function,and its performance evaluation method.These extensions improve the modeling convenience.Then the EGSPN model of the 802.11 protocol is developed.An example of the performance evaluation of RTS/CTS is also presented to illustrate the effectivity of the methodology.
