An Improvement on SET Protocol Applied to Digital-Merchandise Transaction

With rapid popularity of the Internet,more and more information streams are transported in the network,and the digital-merchandise appeared in the network is also increasingly rich.Digital-merchandise holds more and more proportion in modern electronic transaction.The security of on-line transaction and payment for digital-merchandise is a crucial issue that must be seriously considered.With the brief introduction of SET protocol,this paper points out the shortages of SET protocol in the security of network transaction implementation for digital-merchandise,and then proposes a new improved scheme based on SET protocol.And this improved scheme is analyzed in detail as well.
