Abstract:The iron ore sintering process is the largest source of PM10/2.5/1.0 emissions in the iron and steel industry. The technology of PM10/2.5/1.0 removal based on the chemical agglomeration using the sintering pot was carried out. The results show that the removal efficiency of PM10, PM2.5 and PM1.0 are 39.87%, 29.88% and 22.85% respectively, under the conditions of CMC mass fraction of 0.05% and spraying time of 12min (in the range of 720-1440s). The peak value of mass concentration shifts to the PM10 and the number of particles of PM1.0 decreases sharply after the agglomeration. The agglomeration of fine particles mainly shows that small particles are adhered to the surface of large particles, and more small particles agglomerates the big particle.
