An enhanced neutral object-oriented data model |

| Abstract: | A neutral object-oriented data model is necessary to provide separation of application data views from physical data storage in industrial software systems. This short note suggests that a semantically enhanced object data model beyond that of current language-oriented models will be necessary to provide robust capabilities. |
