摘    要:将RPR(弹性分组环)和MPLS(多协议标签交换)应用于第三代MSTP(多业务传输平台),可有效地解决以太网业务在传送效率和QoS方面的矛盾.文章论述了融合两种技术优势的MSTP为RPR提供跨环组网能力的理由,阐述了这种融合将有利于全网端到端业务的配置和网络资源优化利用的观点,并为将这项技术如何推广运用到电力通信领域,指明了方向.

Abstract:The contradiction between the transmission efficiency and QoS of Ethernet service has been solved effectively with the application of MPLS and RPR in the third generation MSTP. The reason of using MSTP to offer RPR to realize the function of crossing over the ring to make up of network is discussed in this article, it is expounded that this kind of integration will help to configure the end to end service in whole networks, and will optimize the network resource. It also points out a direction how to apply the technology into the electric power communication field.
