Abstract:Carbon/nitrogen ratio is one of the primary influencing factors in the system of shor-tcut nitrification.In order to select a suitable m(C)∶m(N),in the stable operation of SBR,with the simulated wastewater as treatment object,the response effect and the stable operation of short-cut nitrification were investigated by changing the m(C)∶m(N).The results indicated that in a stable system,the effect of different m(C)∶m(N) is not obvious on the ammonia nitrogen removal.The system can get a good ammonia nitrogen removal under the condition of m(C)∶m(N) <8.The accumulation of nitrite nitrogen reached 97.80% and the wastage of TN reached 42.51%.The stability of the system will be broken when it operates under the high m(C)∶m(N) for a long time,and it will also effect the sludge character and the sedimentation of the system.
