The Experience of Producing Offset Paper with Sulfite Reed Pulp on a Duoformer Paper Machine

Paper produced with sulfite reed pulp is usually linting during printing due to the epidermic cells of the pulp.High consistency refining can be used to break down the epidermic cells and 90% of it can be briken down with refining in a consistency range of 24%-28%,the broken fragments of the cells will be removed in the followup processes.PM No.10 of Jincheng Paper Company Ltd.is a Duoformer paper machine with a Duoformer,a Voith headbox and a three rolls combined press.The key equipment,the main operation parameters of the machine and the qualities of the offset paper produced on the machine are introduced in this paper.
