鼓浪屿的建筑风格及其文化背景探析

鼓浪屿的建筑主要由三部分构成:一是殖民时期遗留下来的殖民者建筑,一是很多归国华侨从国外归来带入的东南亚式建筑,一是很多当地人模仿周围的洋房所建的房屋。这些建筑多数为低层庭院式建筑,主要是本世纪初或二三十年代建造的。它们较多地受欧美、东南亚等地建筑手法的影响,但又具有浓厚的地方色彩,体现出来的是一种折衷的建筑手法。一方面是殖民式建筑强行输入遭到否定后,渐渐向闽南式建筑风格靠拢。而在开创中西合璧建筑风格之局面中,归国华侨起到了决定性的作用。另一方面,由于深受华侨的影响,当地居民由最初的否定和排斥转向模仿和消化、吸收,经历了由自觉抵制到不自觉运用的过程。鼓浪屿建筑是东西两极建筑文化碰撞、交融的产物。

The study of Gulan Island architecture style and culture background

The buildings of Gulang island have three aspects: firstly,in the period,many colonizers leave off a lot of buildings.Secondly,The overseas Chinese return from the abroad and bring back the style of Southeast Asia architecture.Thirdly,The native people imitate the style of the colonizers and oversea Chinese buildings.Most of the buildings most are low layer courtyard,which were built at the beginning of 20th century.These buildings have the coordination of foreign and native style,which appears a kind of compromised skill.The oversea Chinese played an important role in changing the style of Gulang architecture. They encouraged the native residents to accept the good aspect of foreign buildings.As result,the native residents imitate the style of the foreign buildings. The style of building on Gulang Island is the amalgamation of western and eastern culture.
