Abstract:WiMAX Mesh may accomplish long-distance transmission with both high throughput capacity and large coverage range through multi-hop mode. The routing and schedule algorithm are two key factors that influence the performance of the centralized Mesh network. To obtain the potential performance of the network, this paper proposes a novel combined centralized schedule and channel assignment algorithm for multi-channel single-transceiver Mesh network based on interference aware and load balance routing. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme can improve the system performance in aspects of schedule length and the unitary throughput in comparison with single channel system.
