自呼吸式直接甲醇燃料电池的研究

摘    要:研制了自呼吸式直接甲醇燃料电池(DMFC)测试装置,阴极和阳极采用石墨板,其流场结构为镂空槽道,阳极板带有小型的甲醇溶液储池。试验表明,甲醇最佳浓度为1.5 mol/L,阴极Pt载量能显著影响电池功率密度,电池性能随着Nafion溶液含量和电池运行温度的上升而迅速提高,其中电池运行温度对电池性能的影响最大。在阳极催化剂的用量为4.57 mg/cm2、阴极催化剂用量为2.18 mg/cm2、甲醇溶液浓度为1.5 mol/L、电池运行温度45℃和常压时,采用空气自呼吸和甲醇溶液自扩散方式,电池的峰值功率密度达到12.72 mW/cm2。

Abstract:A passive and air breathing direct-methanol fuel cell(DMFC) was installed.Using graphite plates,the anode and cathode plates were prepared which flow field configuration was straight and parallel flow field and its groove was hollowed.A methanol cavity was manufactured in the anode plates.The results show that the best methanol concentration was 1.5 mol/L,Pt loading of cathod can significantly effect power density,and the cell performance was increasing when the temperature of cell operating and content of Nafion were increased.The temperature of cell operating is the most impacting factor.The peak power density can reach 12.72 mW/cm2 under the following conditions: 4.57 mg/cm2 Pt-Ru catalyst in the anode,2.18 mg/cm2 Pt catalyst in the cathode,1.5 mol/L methanol solution and ambient air.
