| Abstract: | The payment in advance pattern using IC card is more convenient than manual kilowatt hour meter reading, but it is not suited to real time pricing mode. To meet the demand of real time pricing mode, an intelligent kilowatt hour meter reading system based on power transmission line carrier is presented in this paper. This system is an intelligent one in which the users' data can be protected when power source is off, and the fee for electricity can be examined at any time. The hardware and software of this system is described. |
