| Abstract: | In view of the influence of magnetic field on the solidified structure, the paper reviews the latest application and development of alternating and steady magnetic fields during directional solidification, and summarized the microstructure action mechanism of the external magnetic field indirectional solidification. The future development directionis also prospected. |
