两段式无缝软接触电磁连铸结晶器的冷却效果分析

摘    要:利用数值模拟研究了软接触电磁连铸中两段式无缝结晶器的传热及初生坯壳的厚度.结果表明;相同工艺条件下,两段式结晶器与传统结晶器相比,出口坯壳厚度减薄约0.4 mm.铸坯表面温度升高约2.5 K,初始凝固点下降约9 mm,有利于提高铸坯的表面质量.两段式结晶器上半段长度增加使凝固坯壳厚度略有降低,但将导致钢液对连接处的冲刷增大.在本研究条件下,考虑到安全生产的需要,结晶器上半段长度为120 mm是较佳的长度.两段式结晶器壁的传热计算表明,本研究条件下,结晶器的耐热强度满足安全生产的要求.

Abstract:Heat transfer in two-stage slitless mold for soft-contact electromagnetic continuous casting and thickness of initial solidified shell were analyzed through numerical simulation method. The results showed that the thickness of initial solidified shell in two-stage mold was thinner about 0.4 mm than that in conventional mold. The temperature of strand surface increased about 2.5 K and the initial solidified point descended about 9 mm in two-stage mold. These effects were good to improve the surface quality of strand. The thickness of initial solidified shell descended little with increasing the length of top half of mold, resulting in serious scouring of molten metal on the connection of two-stage mold. The length of 120 mm was thought to be the better parameter to meet the requirement of continuous casting industrial production. In the present research condition, the heat-resisting strength on two-stage mold wall satisfied also the requirement of safe production.
