摘    要:光 PPM通信具有很多优点但容易受到外界的干扰。由于 Turbo码具有较好的纠错性能 ,因此希望在光 PPM通信中采用 Turbo码来提高系统性能。而最初提出的 Turbo码的译码算法是在加性白高斯噪声 (AWGN)信道下进行推导的 ,若将 Turbo码用于光 PPM系统 ,就要根据光信道、光接收机及PPM调制的特点重新推导译码算法。通过以 2 5 6时隙的 PPM为例对 Turbo码的译码算法进行了推导 ,模拟结果表明将 Turbo码用于光 PPM通信系统的确能取得较好的纠错能力。

Abstract:Optical PPM communication systems have many advantages, but they are liable to interference. Turbo codes have outstanding performances, and are used in optical PPM communication to improve the performance of systems.But the original decoding algorithms of Turbo codes are proposed under the additive white Gaussian noise(AWGN) channels conditions. If Turbo codes are used in optical PPM systems, the decoding algorithms must be deduced over again in terms of the characteristic of optical channels,optical detector and PPM modulation. The decoded algorithm of Turbo codes in 256-ary PPM as an example is given and the result of simulation shows that Turbo codes have a good correction capability in PPM optical communication systems.
