| 摘 要： | 多媒体信息可以使GIS能更加直观和形象地表达地理信息，增强GIS的表现力。在GIS中充分发挥多媒体信息的优势，需要建立一种有效的多媒体信息存储和管理方法。为此，对文件系统、多媒体属性库、多媒体数据库等常见的多媒体信息存储管理方式进行了对比研究，分析了不同方法的优缺点，为GIS系统中存储和管理多媒体信息提供参考。
