| Abstract: | The SiO2 content in raw materials for iron making has a remarkable influence on thequality and output of the enriched ores, and in turn on the performance of the blast furnace andconverter. The key step for raw materials refining at Chungang Corp. is to lower the SiO2 content in theraw materials; and the specific measures for it include controlling the Si-supplying soume, strictlyenforcing the materials purchase regulations, and enhancing the fixed carben cotent in the sinteringed. |
