摘    要:在高职英语教学中,英语听力教学是一个十分重要的环节,它对高职学生英语语言知识的掌握和应用能力培养产生直接影响.文章对高职英语听力教学的现状先作分析再结合元认知与元认知策略理论,探讨如何把元认知策略运用到英语听力教学中以便提高学生英语听力理解水平并培养自主学习能力.

Abstract:English listening comprehension is an important part of English course in vocational colleges.It influences the quality of vocational students’ English application capabilities.This paper analyzes the current situations of English listening comprehension lecturing in vocational colleges and discusses on how to apply metacognition and metacognitive strategies theory to improve students’ English listening comprehension.
