Abstract: | The reaction of calcium hydroxide with feldspars in aqueous suspensions at 39°C and also at room temperature gives tetracalcium aluminate hydrates, free alkalies, alkali silicates and hydrogarnets, depending on the type of feldspar. A theory related to cement-aggregate reactions is advanced. |
