双轴向纬编结构玻纤聚丙烯层合板拉伸性能研究

摘    要:采用以玻璃纤维纬平针为地组织、经纬向衬入玻纤/聚丙烯复合纱的双轴向纬编结构预型件,利用热压方法制备了5种不同铺层的复合材料层合板,即[0]4,[0/90]2,[-45/45]2,[0/-45/45/90]和[90]4,实验研究了层合板的拉伸性能,分析了拉伸方向衬纱的纤维体积含量对层合板轴向拉伸的初始模量和断裂强度的影响关系,并对材料的断裂形式进行了分析。实验表明,材料的轴向拉伸和非轴向拉伸的力学性能有较大差异,材料轴向拉伸的初始模量和断裂强度与纤维体积含量成正比,衬纱的引入提高了针织结构复合材料的力学性能。

Abstract:A biaxial weft knitted fabric was produced with GF/PP commingled yarn and its laminated composites were fabricated through hot pressing process using different stacking configurations,i.e.4,2, 2, and 4.The tensile properties of the laminated composites were experimentally investigated and the stress-strain curves as well as the variations of ultimate tensile strength and initial elastic modulus with the fiber volume fractions were analyzed.Failure behaviors were also studied by analyzing the tensile curves and observing the damage modes of the tested specimens.The results have shown that there exists a big difference of the tensile properties of the composites tested along and off the inserted yarn directions,and that the ultimate tensile strength and initial elastic modulus are in proportional to the fiber volume fractions.This means that the insertion of the yarns enhances the mechanical properties of knitted structural composites.
