| Abstract: | Firstly, this article briefly introduces P2P technology and the history of its development. Then, it generally discusses the problems ranging from copyrights to security which hamper the further development of P2P and concentrates on those issues greatly disturbing telecommunication operators, such as serious bandwidth occupying and profit mode changing. After thorough consideration, the author pointes out 5 available tactics that operators could employ to deal with the challenge of P2P. |
